** New ** Seniors, Over 60s 70s Pilates & Fitness class
One and a half weeks back, I started a new - Wednesday Morning 9.30am-10.30am - Active Seniors Pilates & Fitness class for the Over 60s and 70s year “young” age group, on the 12th April 2023 in Sandyford, Belarmine Community Centre, Belarmine Plaza. A few places are still available if you want to try the Seniors Pilates & Fitness class in Dublin 18, near Foxrock, Cabinteely, Carrickmines, Stepaside, Sandyford Village, and Leopardstown.There are still a few places available. Contact Martin for more information, with any questions you might have or to book a place.
The classes are suitable for the following:Beginners who haven’t exercised for a while. Those who are already a bit active and want to get a few more ideas about what they can do at home, in their own time or even with a few friends.
Women and Men of age 60, 70 and over. Some of the current class participants of my Active Senior Classes are in their early/mid-80s.
All Fitness Levels
These Pilates and Fitness Exercises give you ideas about what you can do by yourself or with a friend, colleague or partner. We combine, mix and vary different exercises.

Think of a question you have, things you would like to be shown, answered or see how to do.
This might relate to Stretching, Mobility, General and Core Strength, Flexibility or general ideas about what type of activities and exercises you can do at home, when travelling, as a work break, before or after work, maybe during lunchtime, after other activities, i.e. playing golf, having gone for a run, gardening work, hill-walking, cycling or strengthening work etc.
You might pass your ideas and thoughts on via sending an SMS, Whatsapp-message, e-mail, leaving a voice message on my phone, leaving a Whatsapp-voice message, or simply passing on a piece of paper before or after a class. Do whatever works best for you.
Please consider this favour as I'm in the process of rearranging my work week, changing some exercise and Pilates class locations, times etc., slightly.
The intention is to set aside larger blocks of time to allow me to spend more time on video and written content creation. The initial objective is to focus on Coaching, Exercise, Fitness and Pilates Videos and the occasional written post or article on those topics.
The video and content planning, set-up, recording, editing, and uploading to the website and social media takes a good bit of, ideally uninterrupted, time, which is hard to find at the moment, especially as I'm currently teaching group fitness and Pilates classes every day Monday to Friday.
I will most likely start with shorter videos, around 5min, 10min, 15min and a maximal length of 20min. Ideally, you give feedback on what can be improved, left out, added on, changed etc., so the quality of the videos will improve over time, and all customers will benefit from that.

3. Mens Only Pilates & Core Strength Classes in south Dublin will continue as usual in May and June 2023.
We will continue Pilates and Core for Men throughout the year 2023 in the greater South Dublin area.
Currently, you can choose between the following Mens Pilates classes ( find a full class timetable here ):
Tuesday 8pm-9pm Dundrum, Dublin 14, Taney Parish Centre
Wednesday 6.30pm-6.30pm Sandyford, Dublin 18, Belarmine Community Centre.
Thursday 6.45pm-7.45pm Sandyford, Dublin 18, Sandyford Community Centre.
There are also the three Seniors Classes ( Wednesday 9.30am-10.30am in Belarmine Community Centre and Thursday 10am-11am & 11.30am-12.30pm in Taney Parish Centre ) which are mixed gender. Yet, a good few men are also participating in those classes.
The Men's classes focus more on men's needs. Emphasizing flexibility and mobility a bit more, and still include the general Pilates and core exercises as well. Plus, we throw in the odd general strength and toning exercise.
